Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Vector Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit vectorconsulting.dev (the “Site”) or engage us for consulting services.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you submit the contact form, book a strategy call, or use the project scoping chat, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Company name (optional)
- The contents of your message or scoping conversation
When you engage us as a client, we may also collect billing details, project documentation, and credentials necessary to deliver the work.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Usage data via Vercel Analytics — page views, referrers, country, device type, and approximate location. Vercel Analytics uses privacy-preserving measurement and does not set tracking cookies.
- Bot-protection signals via Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a short-lived cookie to verify that requests are not automated.
- Server logs — IP address, user agent, and request metadata, retained for security and abuse prevention.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and deliver consulting services
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service Providers
We rely on the following providers, each with their own privacy practices:
- Vercel — hosting, deployment, and analytics. Vercel Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare — bot protection (Turnstile). Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- OpenAI — powers the project scoping chat. Messages are sent to OpenAI for processing and are subject to their Privacy Policy.
Cookies
The Site does not set marketing or advertising cookies. A short-lived session cookie may be set by Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that contact and chat submissions are not automated.
Data Retention
Contact-form submissions and project communications are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and tax compliance.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, reach out via our contact form.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
